Part Time/Casual Customer Service and Administration Person

Family owned small business—operating 14 years+. Small, friendly team of staff, full-time, part-time and casual. The business is Importing, wholesaling and manufacturing products made from natural fibres—particularly fabrics. We send goods all around Australia and some internationally.
Position available from March 2018.
Days/Hours by negotiation. Expect at least 1 days per week minimum. Monday—Friday ONLY.
Our usual office hours are 8:30—3pm.
Duties: Could include the following: All customer service—via telephone and email. Daily some of the following: Entering orders, taking and applying payments; picking orders and packing for despatch—&/or supervising staff to do so; arranging all despatch by couriers/post. Follow up on enquiries/potential orders by email or phone. Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions. Using MYOB and Microsoft Office with Sage ACT for Customer record management. (CRM)

Required SKILLS – For Office based part of the position
Excellent communication skills—telephone and written
Telephone Skills -Professional, confident, helpful and friendly
Written communication—can present with clarity and correct English
Competent with at least 2 of Word, Publisher, Excel, Outlook,
Competent with MYOB –(or equivalent accounting system) including inventory if possible
Can complete a few different tasks at once
Can work autonomously
Required SKILLS – For Products based part of the position
Confident with weights and measures and associated calculations
Reasonable physical ability to move parcels, fabric rolls etc.
Desirable Knowledge or Experience
Experience with a CRM, e.g. Sage ACT
Sales or marketing experience – phone or other
Fabrics / Sewing
Web site maintenance
